Meet THE TEAM

Behind every appointment is a team focused on helping people feel comfortable, informed, and supported.

It takes a team effort to get you back to your best.  Our chiropractors, Sam and Simon, have over 40 years combined experience in full time practice, and our chiropractic assistants (CA’s), Diance, Julie, Tracy and, new to the team, Sue, combine Healy 50 years of experience and service in the clinic.

Without an effective team at the front desk, your care becomes unstructured, inconsistent, and inefficient, which will negatively impact your results.  The CA’s will help you navigate the practicalities and logistics of your care in a supportive and approachable way.  They each have over 10 years experience in the clinic, so have dealt with every conceivable situation!  If you need help along the way, we are all here for you.

Sam Dickens
MChiro
Doctor of Chiropractic
Chiropractor & Owner

Registered with the GCC and the BCA.

Sam knew from the age of seven that a career in manual medicine was his calling, inspired by the successful treatment of a sports injury by a physiotherapist.

At 18, he was encouraged by two physiotherapists to explore chiropractic, a path that led him to AECC in Bournemouth, where he completed a masters in chiropractic.

Sam is registered with both the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).

When not in practice, he enjoys spending weekends with his children, often cheering them on at their sporting events.

Simon Stokes
MChiro
Doctor of Chiropractic
Chiropractor & Owner

Registered with the GCC and the UCA.

Simon is passionate about helping people improve movement, build confidence, and get back to doing what matters most.

With a patient-centred approach, Simon focuses on understanding the person behind the symptoms and creating care plans tailored to individual goals.

Simon's journey into chiropractic care began during his undergraduate studies in neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, where he observed the transformative impact of chiropractic care on his friends in sports.

This inspiration led him to pursue an MSc in Chiropractic at the University of Surrey, graduating in 2002.

Simon embraces the chiropractic lifestyle, incorporating regular adjustments, exercise, and nutrition into his daily routine.

He is registered with both the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the United Chiropractic Association (UCA)

Outside of practice, his greatest joy is his family—he’s married with three young children and one large, lively dog. In his spare time, Simon enjoys outdoor pursuits, connecting with friends, and unwinding with a good book.

THE STORY

Caring for Coventry for over a century

Healthcare changes.

Life changes.

But some things matter just as much today as they did over 100 years ago:

Feeling listened to.

Understanding what’s going on.

Having confidence in the care you receive.

Since 1923, Coventry Chiropractic Clinic has helped generations of people improve movement, recover from discomfort, and feel more confident in everyday life.

We’ve cared for people through changing lifestyles, changing work patterns, and changing healthcare approaches —
but our philosophy has remained consistent:

Thoughtful care. Honest advice. Long-term wellbeing.

Because recovery is about more than symptoms.

It’s about helping people move forward.

OUR APPROACH

More than pain relief

That's exactly what we do. At Coventry Chiropractic Clinic, we help people move from pain to performance.

That means looking beyond short-term discomfort.

For us, recovery is about helping people:

Feel Better

Reducing discomfort and improving confidence in daily life.

Move Better

Supporting mobility, movement confidence, and resilience.

Live Better

Helping people return to exercise, work, family life, hobbies, and everyday movement.

Performance looks different for everyone.

For some people, it means running again.

For others, it means sleeping comfortably, walking pain-free, gardening, travelling, or simply feeling more like themselves.

Whatever matters to you,

that matters to us.
